Ballet stars dance into Sunrose 7
In the fairy-tale backdrop of Bohinj, world-famous ballet dancers Ana Klašnja and Lukas Zuschlag brought their star quality to add to the magic of Sunrose 7.
Recently, it was our privilege to host such illustrious guests, and as we do for everyone staying here, we delivered a memorable night for our superstar friends.
We created an unforgettable dining experience for the couple, thanks to the expertise of our renowned chef Jože Godec and the wine accompaniment of sommelier Uroš Lukša.

Summer this year has not been the most perfect in terms of weather, but our special guests brought the sunshine with them and thankfully, they were able to see Bohinj at its most beautiful.
Ana and Lukas took advantage of the fine weather to enjoy some quiet time, relaxing by the water in the hotel garden. Embracing the pretty, natural surroundings, they spent a lovely afternoon soaking up the sun with delicious cocktails - the perfect recipe for a perfect day in Bohinj!

The couple spent an equally relaxed evening as they tucked into elegant cuisine that was specially prepared by our chef, Jože.
Ana and Lukas surrendered to the heavenly flavours while enjoying the hotel’s ambience as Jože delivered a feast for the senses with his extraordinary culinary talent.

We are delighted to see that more and more people are recognizing and enjoying the gastronomy at Sunrose 7, which has developed into a real gourmet masterpiece.
With his skill, Jože Godec and his team combine local ingredients with innovative approaches to create flavours that our guests have fallen in love with.
Ana and Lukas enjoyed a sumptuous four course menu which consisted of these dishes:
Cold appetiser (smoked trout with trout caviar, green pea cream and pickled red onion),
Warm appetiser (ravioli stuffed with cottage cheese seasoned with wild herb cream),
Main course (venison in pear sauce, buckwheat dumplings with dried pears, cottage cheese crackers)
Ana and Lukas rounded off their dinner with a mouth-watering dessert of curd cream, strawberry soup and fresh strawberries. Simply a taste sensation!
Sharing her dining experience with us, Ana said: "The flavours were truly exceptional, each dish was a feast for the eyes and soul. All the plates were unique, refined with a sprinkle of love, unforgettable flavours and tradition".
Lukas agreed, offering a positive critique: "Chef Jože really surprised us with his creativity. Every bite was unique and unforgettable. I am delighted that most of the dishes are prepared from local ingredients and seasoned with the touch of our grandmothers' kitchen.” He added: “We will be very happy to return and at the same time share our experience with everyone who appreciates great cuisine, fresh ingredients and that very special spice of love .”

As night fell, Ana and Lukas didn't even think about where to spend the rest of the evening - a babbling brook and a sky full of stars. What a wonderful way to end a perfect day.

By morning, the sun was still shining on Sunrose 7 and our guests - waking up to the new day bathed in sunlight. After enjoying our award-winning breakfast and freshly-brewed coffee in the garden, it was time to say goodbye to our VIP guests who left with a spring in their step.
