Preparing to get married should be one of the happiest times in your life and stress doesn’t need to come into it. At Sunrose 7 you can be assured of the best service as we take a very personalised approach to your wedding plans.

We understand that no two weddings are the same and every bride and groom should have a tailor-made arrangement that suits them and their personalities. With that in mind, we don’t offer one size fits all packages. Instead, we prefer to meet with the happy couple and help them design their special day down to the last detail. You want everything to run like clockwork and we will make sure it does.

Less is more

At Sunrose 7, we also understand the needs of a bride and groom looking for a more intimate wedding. We specialise in creating smaller, boutique weddings for up to 36 guests. It’s not everyone who wants a lavish grand scale affair - sometimes having only those closest to you on your big day is often more romantic than a celebration with hundreds of people there!

Your day, your choices

We have two beautiful areas which are registered for your official civil ceremony. Depending on the time of year you plan on getting hitched, we can offer our library (indoors) which is perfect for autumn and winter. Or for a dreamy setting in the summer months you can have your wedding in our beautiful garden.

We can also offer Sunrose 7 as an *exclusive use venue - yes, you can take over the entire hotel for your big day. Only the wedding party and guests will be on the premises which makes for a very special atmosphere - all your loved ones together under one roof.

(Sunrose 7 is an adults only hotel but for exclusive hire, under 18s will be permitted)

Eat, drink and be merry

What you serve as your wedding feast will be remembered by you and your guests for years to come so we want to make that pretty special too. Together with our head chef, we can create a bespoke menu to reflect your tastes. Food and drink are a big part of any celebration, especially weddings, and we want your guests to enjoy your big day as much as you do. Reception dinners can be held in our restaurant or if weather permits, we can serve it in the hotel garden. Either way, it will look (and taste!) sublime.

Location location location

Surrounded by the astounding mountain scenery of the Julian Alps and the breathtaking Lake Bohinj, the hotel’s location is not just ideal for your wedding but you can enjoy a scenic and romantic honeymoon in this beautiful part of Slovenia. We’re only 55 KM from Ljubljana airport if you’re planning on an exotic getaway but we recommend you stay a day or two here and just savour the moment in time. The easy pace here will ease you into the start of your new life together as Mr and Mrs! You have all the time in the world to rush about in your busy lives so make the most of it and just chill.
