Cecconi Park
Count Ceconi was a lead engineer for the famous Railroad Tunnel connecting Vienna with Trieste (and Venice). This earned him, among others, his own Park. If you’ve booked the right room with us, you’ll be looking straight at it.

The Bohinj Tunnel
The last obstacle to connect Vienna and Venice was bore by hand and took 5 years to complete. It became the biggest engineering feat of the former Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Zois Clock Tower
The Zois park was established in 18th Century and recently restored. Baron Zois had the clock tower in the park built for the purpose of workers going to work on time.
The Famous Scale
Protected with the national heritage protection seal, the famous scale had been used for almost a century for measuring the weight of coal (and other goods) transferred to Bohinj via Railroad.
Waterfall Grmecica
Flowing straight out of the rock, Grmecica waterfall is a sight well worth visiting. Very instagrammable, don’t you think?
Bistrica River Spring
Bistrica river is the biggest afflux of Sava Bohinjka River and mountain spring with crystal clear water is refreshing and rejuvenating.
