Ideas for Trips and Activities in Bohinj

The surrounding nature is so calming, you’ll wish time could stand still. We simply can’t get enough of it.

Here are some of our favourite trip ideas for colder months.

  • Starting point: Vorančkojca parking lot in Stara Fužina. From here, a walking path leads to a circular trail around the Mostnica Gorge. This easy hike can be extended to the Voje Valley, where a mountain hut serves delicious lunches and hearty desserts.

  • Summer crowds have disapeared. Now it’s the perfect time to experience the calmness and fuel your soul to the top. The walk is 12 km long (cca 3h of walking).

  • Reaching the Vogar viewpoint takes around 1.5 hours (one way). The uphill trail will get your heart pumping, but the panoramic view from the top is more than worth it. Start your hike at the Vorančkojca parking lot in Stara Fužina.

  • You can rent bikes directly from the hotel and make the most of those warm autumn afternoons on the picturesque cycling path through the Bohinj Valley.
